Original drypoint and etching engraving with roulette, enhanced with gold, hand signed with pencil, come from the Suite " Faust (Walpurgis Night) " by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe [21 drypoints etchings].
- This is numbered 23 from a limited edition of 95.
- Embossed "Salvador DALI" on the lower right corner.
- Published by Graphik Europa Anstalt (German edition).
- Published by Editions Argillet, Paris (French edition).
- Printed by Robbe.

There are two editions, one with text in french and one in German.
French edition:
- 1 to 3 on Japon paper, plus 1 suite in black, 1 in color, 1 in sanguine and 1 copperplate.
- 4 to 28 on Japon paper, plus 1 suite in black, 1 in color and 1 on silk.
- 29 to 53 on tinted Arches paper, plus 1 suite in black and 1 in sanguine.
- 54 to 103 on tinted Arches paper, plus 1 suite in black.
- 104 to 293 on white Arches paper.
German edition:
- 1 to 3 on Japon paper, plus 1 suite in black, 1 in sanguine, 1 copperplate.
- 4 to 28 on Japon paper, plus 1 suite in black and 1 on silk.
