1934: The 1st March Jean-Michel FOLON born in Uccle, Brussels.
2005 : A review of his work Folon Firenze is organized in the city of Florence: more than 300 works are exposed to the Drill hall of Palazzo Vecchio and to Forte di Belvedere.

Folon Chianti presents exhibitions of ceramic in three municipalities of Chianti (Bagno a Ripoli - Greve - Impruneta).

Jean-Michel Folon died Thursday 20th October, in Monaco, suites of a leukaemia. He was 71 year old. Her funerals proceeded on October 24th in the Saint Charles church of Monaco.

On November 20th, 2005, a ceremony of tribute to the disappeared artist took place on the site of the Folon Foundation in Hulpe, in the presence of numerous political and artistic personalities. For the occasion, a poster was specially edited and the access to the museum was exceptionally free.

2007 São Paulo devoted a major exhibition to Folon´s pictorial work [29 september - 11 november].
